“The teams are still at the beginning of their training and friendly matches are very useful. It’s been a few years since we came to Heraklion, I remember the first time I was in the tournament in 2018. We always love being here. The Cup has also been held here recently, so it’s a familiar place for us. We know that people are receptive to these efforts, so they will have the opportunity to see very high-level teams.
We have very good players in the team. The most important thing is to close quickly, because the targets are clear. We know what we want, what we are after. Many words are poverty. We have a lot of work to do and we will take all the titles. We are waiting for the whole Cretan world in the stadium. We want to see children, families, the whole basketball-loving world, and we are sure that the stadium will be full, as I said, to see these very good teams of the Euroleague level.”
