Founded in 1922, the Agenaise Fencing Society (SEA) is one of the symbolic associations of the city, and not only because Christian Noel remains the only Agen athlete to become Olympic champion (Mexico 1968).

SEA has always been very dynamic. Classes start at 6pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays depending on subjects, levels and age. Wednesday lessons start from 11:00 to 12:00 with beginners. 14:00 to 13:00 (ages 11/13) then 15:30 to 17:00 (beginners over 13). Seniors and veterans (+€62 for license).

Lightsaber shows

Under the leadership of Louis Cojan, along with the traditional teaching of weapons such as epee and foil, artistic fencing was introduced: “This involves training with a lightsaber (from the age of 11) in the spirit of the futuristic epics that made him famous. cinema. This learning will lead to futuristic shows in collaboration with associations such as the Chevalons ensemble (equestrian center in Bon Encontre) or the Calida Costa de Caudecoste for historical reenactments. Several licensees compete in fencing and the SEA regularly organizes championships at the Christian Noël armory in the Agen Stadium.
